More DK studies
Working my painting chops with the Dam Keeper crew!!!
The top was an indoor setup. The goal here was to capture the texture and the subtle lighting.
Digital // 2 hrs
The bottom was another 2 hr plein aire. It was a perfectly overcast morning at the Emeryville Marina

| Sleep by Salvador Dali |
My friend Justin commissioned me to design a Salvador inspired tattoo for him. It has been in the works for a while but he finally got it done. He wanted to incorporate the stilts motif that's found in plenty of Dali's work ..and jellyfish.
Here's a piece I did for my Conceptual Illustration class with the Barron last semester. We chose the theme, Future Myths. My take resulted in a kind of silly( but totally plausible) mechanical garbage-eating shark world.
I submitted both of these pieces to Brevspread, a Bay area monthly arts and letters zine. They are producing some great material and always looking for submissions, so check it!
